World Scouting and Accenture are excited to announce a new partnership that will enhance digital learning and enhance educational opportunities for Scouts globally, equipping them with the leadership, sustainability, and digital skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced world and build a more sustainable future.

Under the new partnership, Accenture will provide funding and technical expertise for Scouting’s flagship education campaign Scouts for SDGs, and the development of a new platform for World Scouting’s largest online Jamboree event. The event connects millions of Scouts online around educational activities that promote friendship, digital skills, and global citizenship.

"We are thrilled to partner with Accenture to bring cutting-edge digital solutions and innovative educational opportunities to Scouts worldwide,” said Ahmad Alhendawi, Secretary General of World Scouting. “This collaboration, developed together with the World Scout Foundation, will enhance the digital learning experience for Scouts around the world and provide much needed financial resources to our Member Organizations to scale-up our Scouts for SDGs efforts through our new LifeLeaders programme, providing Scouts with valuable skills and credentials that will benefit them throughout their lives."

Accenture support will also enable the integration of ScoutPass across all of Scouting’s core digital platforms, including the Scouts for SDGs learning and actions platform. Developed in collaboration with the Learning Economy Foundation, ScoutPass recognises the skills young people develop through Scouting and gives them tangible credentials that can be recognised by educational institutions and employers worldwide.

In addition to invaluable digital transformation support, Accenture is also funding the rollout of a new Impact Innovator Challenge badge as part of World Scouting’s new LifeLeaders educational initiative. The new badge aims to equip a generation of young people with innovation and creative problem-solving skills for life, encouraging them to take meaningful action in their communities to solve problems for people and our planet. The Impact Innovator Challenge badge (which was co-developed with World's Largest Lesson, WLL) will be initially rolled out in 12 countries, before being scaled across the wider Scout Movement.

The actions facilitated by the new partnership aim to equip Scouts with the skills and knowledge to address locally identified social, cultural, and economic challenges, thereby advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through educational initiatives and capacity building.

“This partnership underscores our shared commitment to foster sustainable education, innovation, and digital literacy among young people worldwide. We are proud to help accelerate World Scouting’s digital transformation and provide important new opportunities for lifelong learning among Scouts around the globe with the Impact Innovator Challenge badge."
