Interamerica Governance
The Interamerican Scout Region is strategically managed by the Interamerican Scout Committee, which is elected by a delegations of 34 Member Organizations at the Regional Scout Conference.
Interamerica Scout Regional Conference
Held every three years, the Interamerica Scout Regional Conference aims to grow and develop the Scout Movement in the Region by promoting a spirit of world-wide friendship, cooperation, and mutual assistance.
The event sets objectives for the Region and advises the Regional Committee on lines of action to follow. In addition to approving resolutions and regional policies and other functions set out in its constitution, it also elects members of the Regional Committee.
Interamerica Regional Committee
The Interamerica Regional Committee makes and implements decisions based on the objectives, policies, resolutions, and lines of action established by the Regional Conference, in line with the outcomes of World Scout Conferences.
It is comprised of eight elected members with the right to vote, who must be members of the Member Organizations within the Interamerican Scout Region. In addition, there are five ex-officio members who do not have the right to vote, namely the Regional Director, two Youth Advisors, the Regional Treasurer, and the Chairperson of the Interamerican Scout Foundation.
World Scout Bureau Interamerica Support Centre
Based on the philosophy of “One World, One Scout Movement'', the Interamerica Support Centre acts as the secretariat of the World Organization of the Scout Movement on matters relating to the Interamerica Region. It is headed by a regional director.
