Peace Light 2014: Sharing Happiness - Harvesting Peace

Tizian, this year's Peace Light Child from Upper Austria, is passing the flame of the Light of Peace from Bethlehem to Matthias, a Scout with Pfadfindergruppe Völs and representing the Scouts and Guides of Tyrol (Pfadfinder und Pfadfinderinnen Österreichs).

More than one thousand Scouts and Guides from across Europe and overseas attended the official ecumenical Peace Light Ceremony last Saturday at the largest Protest church in Austria (Gustav-Adolf-Kirche in Vienna) and have since carried their lantern and its message of peace to their associations, communities, families and friends around the world.
