Education of trainers and leaders in National Scout Association of Moldova

In the framework of the project “Education of trainers and leaders in National Scout Association of Moldova”, during 17-19 May 2013, simultaneously were organized two important events: a practical training for leaders (LT1) organized by new trainers educated at the TTT1 (in November 2012), and atheoretical training for trainers (TTT2) provided by two Danish qualified scout trainers (Ane Frydenboe and Rikke Molin).

The project is developed in partnership with The Danish Scout Organization (DDS) with the support of Danish Youth Council (DUF). About 12 new trainers and 28 leaders were offered professional training sessions, using the approach “learning by doing” in such workshops as: Patrol system, Scout Camp, Recruiting of Leaders, Attractive Scout groups, A real scout in a healthy body, Knots and Ropes, Nature, Game as a method of education, Pioneering. During the sessions new trainers were supported by the scout expert and experienced trainer Laila Nielse, who at the end as well has evaluated their level of knowledge and competence to organized trainings for leaders. All the participants showed maximum involvement and dedication and implemented successfully the before set up objectives. This project is for Moldova and other NSA/NSO of the Eurasia Scout Region for sure - a great opportunity to capacity building and organizational development.
