ANTANANARIVO - A team national commissioners of Tily Eto Madagasikara, in Madagascar, led by its Chief Commissioner, NY Hasina Rakotondrajao, conducted a christmas charity activity on Saturday 27 December 2008 at the Centre Olom-Baovao Hospice et Orphelinat Ambohimahitsy – Antananarivo.

CONAKRY - The Scouts of l' Association Nationale des Scouts de Guinée were honored during the celebrations of the 50 years of independence of the country. This was on 28 September 2008. At a ceremony attended by several delegations and Heads of States, Scouts were honored to open the parade with their band.

A group of Ugandan Scouts set off from Kampala to Mombasa, Kenya on 8 December 2008. The theme for this adventure was “Developing a Sense of Responsibility and Self-reliance”. During the adventure Scouts were expected to learn how to take care of themselves in a responsible way in varying circumstances.
