Meeting of Institutional Development Network Central America Subregion

The Institution is all of US!
March 15th 2014. Valley of Angels, Honduras. The 2014. cicle of presential meetings of the Regional Networks with the Institutional Development Subregion of Latin America, corresponding to the Central America Subregion, has begun. We have the company of the NSO of Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador (Weblink), and Honduras as Host.
The meetings are being conducted by Jose Gabriel Criollo, Director of Institutional Development of the World Scout Bureau - Interamerican Region. In these meetings we have been addressing different Issues concerning the Interamerican Policy Institutional Development (adopted in September 2013 at the 25th Interamerican Scout Conference), the importance and usefulness of its application in our NSO’s and the benefit that the implementation can generate.
With the active participation of all attendees, very interesting
discussions on various topics related to all NSOs in our region have
emerged:
* The meaning or definition of Institutional Development and scope
* Good practices in NSO’s
* Democracy and transparency in governance
The meeting will continue to develop throughout Saturday and Sunday,
days during which it is expected to start generating new definitions to
produce documents that develop and complement the Institutional
Development Policy and exchange successful experiences of NSO’s
