Les Résolutions adoptées par la Conférence Mondiale du Scoutisme sont importantes puisqu’elles façonnent inévitablement le travail à la fois du CMS et du BMS durant toute la période allant jusqu’à la prochaine Conférence Mondiale du Scoutisme. Cependant, on devrait toujours garder à l’esprit le fait que ces Résolutions représentent seulement une partie du travail du CMS et du BMS, puisqu’elles abordent des sujets ou thèmes spécifiques et s’inscrivent dans une optique de travail bien plus large et variée qui s’étend bien au-delà de la période située entre deux Conférences Mondiales.
Nous sommes très heureux que notre Euro.Scout.Doc sur le Scoutisme et la crise financière et économique publiée en 2009 - avait à l’époque inspiré nos amis de Corpo Nacional de Escutas (CNE) pour traduire le document en portugais.
Cette fois, les rôles sont inversés et un document intitulé « Crisis » publié par la CNE a été traduit en anglais et en français, et est largement basé sur le texte original en portugais.
Nous sommes heureux de joindre le nouveau Euro.Scout.Doc intitulé « Crise – comment réagir face aux difficultés socio-économiques ? » afin que les conseils et la réflexion puissent être partagées plus largement.

Supporting Growth in Changing Times
This is the first comprehensive Membership Report of the European Scout Region. The purpose of this report is to give NSOs/NSAs an insight into the membership data of the European Scout Region. The report is based on data the European Scout Region has received from individual NSOs, rather than purely WOSM census figures. Where an NSO has not responded to the request for detailed figures, census figures have been used.
Depuis l’Année internationale des Volontaires (AIV) en 2001, l’Assemblée générale des Nations Unies (AGNU) a adopté plusieurs résolutions qui reconnaissent les contributions importantes du volontariat développement économique et social.
Prenant le rôle de fédérateur, le programme VNU voit le moment approprié pour procéder à la préparation d’une publication mondiale intitulée « Rapport sur la situation du volontariat dans le monde » (RSVM). Ce rapport rassemble des informations remarquables sur le volontariat et en défend la cause en examinant son rôle et sa contribution dans les processus de paix et de développement, y compris de réalisation des Objectifs du Millénaire pour le développement (OMD).
Kenya Scouts Association (KSA) hosted the 13th World Scout Moot - the first World Organization of the Scout Movement youth event to be held in Africa - from 27 July to 7 August 2010. It was attended by 1,675 Scouts from 68 countries around the world including participants, contingent staff and members of the International Service Team (IST).
Le troisième Symposium Interreligieux Scout Mondial a été organisé à l’hôtel Africana à Kampala (Ouganda) du 21 au 25 octobre 2009. Il a rassemblé plus de 80 participants de 30 pays appartenant à diverses confessions et religions, à savoir : baha’is, bouddhistes, anglicans, catholiques, luthériens, orthodoxes, protestants, hindous, musulmans, juifs, animistes africains, sikhs et bouddhistes won.
Membership Growth Guidelines is a tool to develop a membership growth plan, which includes strategies to guide National Scout Organizations through the process of developing strategies that affect them.

Les comptes annuels du BMS ont été préparés en utilisant les coûts historiques et sont présentés en francs suisses.

Education et Mouvement Scout Mondial : Expériences et Défis
(Mise à jour 9 Février 2012) Pour marquer le Centenaire du Scoutisme, l'OMMS avait lancé un projet afin de construire une base de connaissances pour toutes les personnes qui se livrent à un processus d'apprentissage collectif sur le Scoutisme. La première étape de ce projet était l'organisation d'un congrès scientifique mondial. Le résultat est le fruit du travail de chercheurs, d'universitaires, de représentants de l'ONU et d'ONG et bien sûr des contributions de responsables scouts.
Communication Strategy 2011-2012
Africa Region
“Reaching stakeholders, more effectively, with the Scout message” is the focus of the communication strategy for Africa for the year 2011-2012. The principal stakeholders targeted by this strategy are NSOs and Scouts in Africa (Internal) and Partners, the media and the community (external).
In the information age, reaching stakeholders depends heavily of the use of information technology – practically speaking; this is mainly about using the Internet. Yet, as highlighted by this strategic document, In Africa, the Internet as channel of communication is still facing a number of hurdles.
La 39e Conférence Mondiale du Scoutisme a eu lieu du 10 au 14 Janvier 2011. Organisée par União dos Escoteiros do Brasil (Association des Scouts du Brésil), elle a été suivi par 918 participants de 138 pays.

We all expected the closing ceremony to be something extraordinary. After a fantastic Jamboree with superb shows throughout, it just had to be!
On the night of the 6th August the grand finale began, with the theme ‘Solidarity’ and plenty of rumours about what was to come. Situated at an all new stage with a view from every side, the conditions were set for a fantastic show.

The Jamboree is not only about activities, Camp in Camp and big events; much more is happening all around the campsite as part of the daily life at the Jamboree. The everyday life is conducted in every Subcamp, and the Towns are summing with life much of the time.

Safe from Harm, conference on the issue of child protection, held on the Jamboree site. Quest, People, Global Development Village, Dream, Earth, the Module Activities have names to spark your imagination. Young Correspondents from Switzerland and Brazil had the honour of interviewing a secret member of the Swedish Royal Family.

Ramadan at the Jamboree, Ramadan is considered the month of Quran and Charity and whoever fasts receives great rewards. During Ramadan, Muslims perform lots of religious rituals, like reading the Quran more often, performing Taraweeh prayers every night of Ramadan after Ishaa prayer (night prayer). Also Muslims increase doing good deeds and paying charity to needy people and pay Zakat (fourth pillar of Islam) as it has double rewards during this month.

It’s arrivals day and Scouts are joining the Jamboree from all over the world. Some arrived early to help; others had been delayed by weather, lost luggage and transport issues. All seem happy to be at the site and excited about what the next two weeks hold for them.

Des représentants accrédités des Associations scoutes nationales, qui avaient adopté et pratiqué le Mouvement scout fondé par Robert Baden- Powell en 1907, se sont réunis à Paris, France, en juillet 1922 et, en vue de coordonner le Mouvement scout à travers le monde, ont créé la Conférence Internationale du Scoutisme avec un comité exécutif et un secrétariat.
La présente Constitution, telle qu'amendée en janvier 2011, régit le fonctionnement de l’Organisation Mondiale du Mouvement Scout dans un esprit fraternel de coopération et d’amitié mondiales.
