How to work with the UN, leaflet of WAGGGS - This set of 'How To?' leaflets is a tool produced by WAGGGS which can be used by National Organizations wishing to form or to develop relations with the United Nations and its specialized agencies. The information in the leaflets is basic. It is a good resource for a new start of relation with an international organization. ( pdf)
INTRAC policy paper on NGOs and Partnership - The International NGO Training and Research Centre (INTRAC) supports non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society organizations around the world by exploring policy issues, and strengthening management and organisational effectiveness. NGOs and Partnership document will give you principles of partnerships between organizations. ( pdf)

Here are some examples of Memorandum of Understanding signed between WOSM and other international organizations:

Here are examples of projects in cooperation with other organizations:
The Child Labour Project in Egypt is an example of a multilateral partnership. The Arab Council for Childhood and Development undertook the initial survey and the project is now supported by an international NGO (UNICEF) and a local NGO (Sidi El Sammak). Read more about the story. ( pdf)

The Extension Scout Programme in Kenya is another example of a multilateral partnership. The project received support initially from Cadbury's Kenya and from this partnership a relationship with individuals in the United Kingdom developed. Scouts in Canada also support the project and DANIDA, the Danish Development Agency, sponsored a seminar for leaders of Extension Scout Groups. Read more about the programme.
