Scouts of the World Award Guidelines:

This document gives guidelines on how National Scout Organizations can implement the Scouts of the World Award, as an element of their Senior Section programme, and open it to all young people, members or not of the Scout Movement.

The Scouts of the World Award is a free, very straightforward, flexible and easy to implement programme and does not compete with national Scout associations' existing programmes. It complements them and enables them to fit within a global framework. Click here for more information about the SW Pack Agreements (The basic package is a free educational non-commercial package).

These Scouts of the World Identity guidelines provide information and resources to help National Scout Organizations (NSO’s) develop promotional materials for the Scouts of the World Award.

All National Scout Organizations are requested to use the same graphic identity (badge/logo/designs) to support the Scouts of the World Award. National Scout Organizations which are members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement are authorized – and encouraged - to use the Scouts of the World logo and the Scouts of the World badge for non-commercial purposes.

This information do not provide, or imply any right, for anyone to use these designs for commercial purposes, or the right to change the basic logo and badge in any way, other than for language purposes.

If you want to use these logos or their elements for any commercial products a license is needed.

The Scouts of the World Award Badge

     

This is the Badge given by a NSO to a young person when he/she successfully accomplish a Scouts of the World Discovery, the Scouts of the World Voluntary Service and the SW evaluation process. It can be in the Scout uniform and the NSO should create a Scouts of the World Award certificate. To obtain the artwork of the SW Badge, please contact the World Scout Bureau.
