Hi Kaddi. Sorry. I hadn’t fully appreciated your question initially. Obviously, I can't speak on behalf of the World Scout Committee, so you would need to ask the Chairman/SG directly if you wanted to know for sure. My understanding is that this was, at least in part, a reaction to the recent passing of legislation regarding homosexuality in Uganda. From my perspective it is disappointing that this has not yet been made clear in introducing the context of the statement as I believe was agreed. The Human Rights Task Force (of which I am a member) provided its advice to WSC at their request on this matter amongst other things. It almost goes without saying, of course, that the matter in Uganda is of course far from the only consideration for Scouting in respect of Human Rights and I think the statement is right to make clear that the stance does not only apply to a specific instance or issue. Our posture and approach in Scouting is as an educational Movement based on clear values and principles, not as a campaigning or advocacy organisation. HRTF has also been working on its report to the World Scout Conference which was also reviewed and accepted at the recent WSC meeting. This proposes developments in our approach to Human Rights Education and suggests strengthening our policy position to make even clearer that WOSM and NSOs should respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights and make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses. Lo que facilita la comunicación por interpretación intuitiva y exposición constante con nuestros círculos interacción social cotidiana Es gracias a las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones como holística ventana de universalidad local, que ahora podemos dimensionar el alcance que a lo largo de este siglo de escultismo en diversos lugares se ha materializado en simbólico recuerdo a: - Héroes ordinario surgiendo de circunstancia peculiares; remembranza testimonial de las acciones de determinación del ideal scout llevada al límite de la vida misma
- Alegoria a la aspiración del carácter empático y alegre que resulta del muchacho inmiscuido en el escultismo
- Faro simbólico del valor universal al movimiento scout
- Póstumo recuerdo al ejemplo de perseverancia en toda una vida scout Conozcamos el aprecio que tienen las comunidades a la valoración del escultismo como legado universal El proyecto es un reconocimiento del la espontanea motivación a plasmar marcas de entendimiento universal que alertan la importancia del movimiento en la mundana realidad de nuestros tiempos, y se proyectan al futuro para dar testimonio del esfuerzo por dejar el mundo en mejores condiciones de como lo recibimos
