The Scout Association of Malta holds an Adult Resources Training Weekend
Between Friday 12 and Sunday 14 November, the Scout Association of Malta held a Training weekend at its Training and Programme Department in the Island Head Quarters in Floriana.
Five members from the department together with various Training Advisors within the Association discussed several topics related to the Adult Training System.
Workshops were held on a variety of topics with lots of time in between sessions to allow participants to get to discuss mutual challenges and opportunities. Some of the topics included Group Dynamics, Symbolic Framework in Training, Train the trainer and the present training system in Malta. During the weekend various Team building and fun activities where held between sessions.
Olga Oliveira Cunha conducted this training and she shared her experience in Adult Training in Portugal as part of the Tailored Support Programme currently provided by the European Region in Malta.
The Training & Programme Department are looking forward for similar training on different aspects in the near future.
