WOSM Secretary General joins Kenyan Scouts in Tree Planting

Dr. Eduardo Missoni paid a courtesy call to the Kenya Scouts Association (KSA) when he was in Nairobi in June. During the call, he participated in the Association’s tree planting exercise, which is part of KSA’s Gift for Peace to mark the Centenary Celebrations.

Kenyan Scouts have embarked on a campaign to plant 10 million trees by the end of 2007. Dr. Missoni was accompanied by the Deputy Secretary General in charge of Finance and Administration, Mr. Luc Panissod. They were in Nairobi to conduct interviews for the vacancy of the Africa Regional Director.
