The event summoned to more than 850 Rovers, more than 100 Scouts leaders and more than 100 people (Scouts and non Scouts) in service team.

Scouts of the World had the possibility to be present thanks to administrations carried out by Antonio “Pimpo” Farias-Márquez and Sebastián “Perdíz” Martín, both in charge of the EcoMoot Program.

The EcoMoot offered the ideal mark to develop the first three SW Discovered in Argentina:

Development – “A Cordovan mine”. Shop in charge of the geologist Silvina Martínez who explained the consequences of the man's exploitation and their interaction with the atmosphere.

Peace – “We go to the house of the children”. Key experience for that the young can take contact with love from children. A visit to take contact with the reality that children indigent live in the House of children of Padre Aguilera.

Environment – “Garbage for points”. Inside the program of the “Rover Challenge”, the youths had the opportunity to see for if same the consequences of the contamination by hand of the man.

Many of the youths that participated in these activities, decided to validate their discovered ones through their SW Passport. They already possess the first stage of the credited program; that which allows them to undertake their Voluntary Services.

The SW Commission also had a fixed Stand inside the event, which was visited for more than 200 youths. Directing Scouts and Directors of Scouts Area also came closer willing to become a next future in SW Bases, with the purpose of expander the program to their respective Scouts Areas and this way to benefit their youths.

The SW Commission was in charge of the MDG – Shop which a dynamics of roles where the youths adopted the representation of different countries. Exchanging their problems and possible solutions. This generated very energetic debates and very interesting proposals.

To culminate the SW Commission it was also in charge of carrying out the initiative “GET UP”, promoted by the Campaign of the Millennium in their desire to establish a Guinness Record, the biggest number of people in getting up against the poverty and in favor of the MDG. Scouts of Argentina contributed its grain of sand to this initiative in the previous moments to the Scout Vent

This way, the program Scouts of the World, little by little coming securing inside the Rovers of Scouts of Argentina.

Without place to doubts, the EcoMoot will be a reference point for the Rovers of Scouts of Argentina. SW Commission say thanks to the Scout Area 22 and the Scout Group “Tinku Huairaspa” openly to be had committed with the development of our youths and to open the program from the event to new action possibilities.
