Child Protection

The Safe from Harm Symposium

Guidelines and recommendations on child protection in the Scouting Movement, based on feedback at the Safe from Harm Symposium.

It is important, in the whole of society, that young people are protected. It is, therefore, vital that our organisation have procedures, relating to the protection of children, in place. This Euro.Scout.Doc looks at the importance of this, the rights of young people, what child abuse is and makes recommendations to Scout associations for forming their own child protection policies.
