The World Organization of the Scout Movement Asia-Pacific Region did an image study of Scouting in the Region in 2000 and has deemed it important to repeat it in 2008. This study describes the image of Scouting in the APR as perceived by 7,103 or 83% of the expected Scouts/Scout Leaders, non-Scouts/Scout Leaders, and parents of Scouts.
