ETHIOPIA – For a week, 11th to 16th March 2013, Addis Ababa became the capital of Africa Scouting, as Scouts and Scouts leaders from across the continent converged at the Addis Ababa University College of Development Studies for events around the All Africa Scout Day celebrations. The overriding theme for this year celebrations was “Scouts promoting good citizenship and peace”.

هذا ما أوضحه فخامة الرئيس عبد العزيز بوتفليقة فى رسالته للمؤتمر الكشفى العربى السابع والعشرين والذى عقد فى العاصمة الجزائرية خلال الفترة من 24 – 30 مايو 2013 بقصر المؤتمرات والتى القاها نيابة عن فخامته سعادة محمد العربى ولد خليفة رئيس المجلس الشعبى الوطنى مؤكداً على أمنيتان للرئيس الأولى أن يحقق الشعب العربى ما حلمت به أجيال متعاقبة من تضامن وتقلب وتكامل بين شعوبنا والثانية أن يتعزز التواصل والثقة بين مواطننا من أجل هدف واحد وهو انتصار قيم السلام والتعاون والحوار.

A good blend of volunteers and professionals gathered from 13-14 June 2013, in Makati City, Philippines for this year’s Asia-Pacific Regional Management Meeting. The purpose of this annual management meeting was to review the region's performance based on the APR Plan, set the operational plan for the coming year, plan the budget for the next fiscal year and discuss the operational matters and global challenges affecting the region.

В конце мая в с. Красном Красноармейского района Донецкой области состоялся 16 Всеукраинский Джамбори младших скаутов «Зов прерий». Лозунг этого похода «Дождь в дорогу – это хорошо!» вновь оправдал себя, ведь город провожал скаутов проливным дождем, а благословенная краснянская земля встретила вначале робкими, а затем жаркими солнечными лучами.

This years Agora took place from the 10th to the 14th of April in Kandersteg, Switzerland. Agora, meaning a meeting place, It is an annual event, hosted by the European Scout Region which gathers Rovers from all around Europe to come together and discuss all things Rover and much more. It is a unique event as it is run by Rovers for Rovers.

On May 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2013 was held the Regional Senior Sections Seminar (the senior sections includes the venturers and rover community units, or the equivalent in each NSO for ages between 15 to 21 years).
