First Growth Network meeting in Berlin

Following on from the Long Term Project on Growth, the first meeting of the Growth Network took place in Berlin, Germany, over the weekend of 5 to 7 October.
26 people from a wide variety of associations were present. Growth is clearly important to these associations, as only a small number had been previously involved with the Long Term Project on Growth.

After this successful meeting in Berlin, the Joint Committees of WAGGGS and WOSM in Europe agreed to support this initiative will hope that the network will develop along the lines of other informal networks at regional level.

The next Growth Network will take place in Portugal from 25 to 27 April 2008.
We would like to invite all National Scout Associations and Member Organisations to participate in the next Growth Network – the planning team has already started its work!
