The National Association of Cambodian Scouts (NACS) is now a full member of World Scouting family as the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) announced its admission on 1st July 2008.

Designed to strengthen the regional cooperation among Training Commissioners and Adult Leaders and to review the importance of their role in managing adult resources at all levels, the Scouts of China hosted the Gathering of National Training Commissioners from 8th to 9th June 2008 and APR Seminar on Adult Resources Management from 10th to 13th on the same month in Taipei, Taiwan.

The 1st ASEAN Jamboree was held on 28th December 1993 to 4th January 1994 at Mt. Makiling in Los Banos, Laguna and participated in by 14,790 Scouts and Scouters from the ASEAN countries and nine national Scout organizations from other parts of the world.

After nearly 10 years, it was a golden opportunity for the regional team consist of Regional Scout Committee member Mr Prakorb Mukura and Regional Director Abdullah Rasheed to visit Vietnam early part of March 2008.

First time this year, members of the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Foundation Management Committee met from from 23rd to 24th of February in Makati City, Philippines hosted by the Regional Chairman Jejomar C. Binay.
