International Fellowship of Reconciliation
The International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR) is an international faith based organisation that strives for peace and non-violence. The aftermath of WWI was the impetus for its creation and IFOR has consistently advocated against war since its inception.
IFOR's work has expanded into the five following areas:
- Decade for Culture and Nonviolence
- Nonviolence Education and Training
- Youth Empowerment
- Interfaith Cooperation
- Disarmament
IFOR uses a grassroots approach to carry out its mission, implementing public education campaigns and training programmes to reach the larger community. Famous for its position in active non-violence, IFOR has enjoyed many long lasting relationships with NGOs and other organisations around the world.
