Regional Office

The Africa Scout Regional Office is a branch of the World Scout Bureau, the permanent secretariat of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Based on the philosophy of “One World, One Scout Movement”, the office acts as the secretariat of the World Organization of the Scout Movement on matters pertaining to the Africa region.

Established in Lagos, Nigeria in 1965, the office moved to Nairobi, Kenya in 1982 and has since been headquartered at Rowallan Scout Camp.
