17th Sep 2013

after the blasts, the terrorists who targeted the mosques of Salam and Taqwa in the city of Tripoli and in front of the enormity of the damage that destroyed many apartments and shops in the two regions , a campaign was launched in the association of Environmental Scout Organization in Lebanon with other different associations and civil society organizations to help residents and shop owners in raising the rubble and debris from the two regions. The General Secretary of the organization leader Murad Aboushi said that this initiative of the environmental scout organization is considered to be a simple contribution to alleviate all those affected by the terrorist act first. Also, such a work is one of the major missions that the rovers and boy scouts accomplish in the organization which is based on the principle of public service and to instill the principle of giving and sacrifice in the hearts and minds of youngsters and strengthen the sense of belonging and prove that every scout is first and foremost a messenger of peace.
