EnglishThe Cameroonian Scouts say yes to the initiative Messengers of peace…It was February 11th, 2013 in Yaoundé, after the parade of the scouts marking their involvement to the celebration of the 47th edition of the National Feast of Youth, that more than 200 young scouts of all disconcerted branches have been sensitized on the initiative Messengers of the peace.After the brief preview that the localCommunity Leader gave on the MoP initiative, the persons responsible of the different scouts group showed the wishes to invite the local CommunityLeader and his team in their respective scout group for an exhaustive exposition on this new opportunity for the development of Scouting in Cameroon and in the world.At the end the of the session of information, all participants to the parade decided, as one man, to say Yes; to accept to become Messengers of the peace.This first wave constitutes the first fermented of the messengers of the peace opening the way to the setting up of the national network of the Messengers of the peace of Cameroon that starts with the capital City to spread it progressively toward the other regions of the country thus.In the next months, the MoP initiative will be in his phase of extension. The challenge that himself gives the local team that is the formation of 100 ambassadors of the peace to relieve the message and to reach 2014 on the horizon the cape of 5000 messengers of peace and to mobilize 25000 people to the promotion of the peace.
