“B” rank school-jamboree in Byurakan campsite

In the period of November 24-25 the scout master group of Yerevan held “B” rank school-jamboree in Byurakan campsite. The main goal of this event was to give new scout knowledge to the participants. During the school-jamboree a number of lectures were organized which emphasized the importance and necessity of scout discipline and responsibility. Content of these lectures is of great importance not only for full scout life but also for being implemented during future scout master activity, for being passed to the next generations.

Within the framework of this event the participants fixated their knowledge in the sphere of World Organization of Scout Movement and National Scout Movement of Armenia establishment history, as well as enriched their skills and knowledge in orienting in nature and creating living conditions. They also got introduced to the bodies, forming HASK, to their functions and principles of management scheme.

Worth mentioning was the historical part of the school-jamboree, dedicated to the “Armenian Question”. It was followed by active and interesting interactive discussion.

Different games and exercises, intended to find out the level of participants’ awareness and learning in various fields and appropriate video material viewing were organized as well.

In the end of the school-jamboree the participants got accouterment from scout masters as encouragement and came back home with enriched baggage of scout and general knowledge and information.
