The place of installation is not accidental, as the picturesque bank of the river Ros is the venue for various scouting events for over 20 years.
Scout-master of the scout troop "Plai" (Kyiv City Organization of AYPO "National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine") Maxim Gromov, the sponsor of a monument creation, noted that "the Ukrainian Scouting, with its rich history and traditions deserves to ensure that the date of its memorial jubilee has been monumentalized in stone. After years a new generation of Ukrainian Scouts, studying the history of the glorious victories of our ancestors in XVII and XX centuries on these lands will be able to experience their own involvement in it "- he added.
