10. Juni 2013 - 0:00

In the end of May, in village Krasne Donetsk region the 16 All-Ukrainian Jamboree for cub scouts "Call of the Prairies" was held."

The motto of this camp, "Rain on the way – this is good!" again justified itself, because the city accompanied the scouts by pouring rain, and the blessed region of Krasne met with hot sun. The flags of Ukraine, the World Organization of the Scout Movement, Donetsk region of the National Organization of the Scouts of Ukraine were rised to the sky! The great game, which gathered delegations from Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhdanivka, Ugledar, Alchevsk and Krasnoarmiisk, started.

It should be noted that during the Jamboree children not only successfully opened the swimming season in 2013, but also learned, empathized, gained experience of survival in nature, impressed adults by their stability, readiness for activity, work on themselves, the ability to make the right decisions in unusual situations. Boys and girls will always remember sightseeing day. Updated museum dedicated to Sergei Prokofiev impressed with new exhibits, fascinating story about the history of museum, about the life and work of the famous composer and musician. Such events live in our memory for a long time, awakening the love to the native land, interest in the history, pride in the famous compatriots.

But all good things end quickly… On the main area of the camp a lot of candles of the Scout lily are lit, the results of Great Game are summed up, the new members joined ranks of the Scout Movement. And then for a long time adults and children sang and danced, recited miniatures, laughing and having fun at the great camp fire.

Lots of thanks to everyone, who made this unforgettable event happened!

"Call of the Prairies" was, is and always will be!
