Let’s go for Youth Forum together!

Eurasia Scout Youth Forum’s PrepTeam Meeting 3-6 June 2010, Krasnokamenka International Scout Centre.

With this note let us update on the work that has been extended by the Preparatory team (composed of different NSO representatives), the Eurasia Regional Office staff and the members of the Host Team (Georgia) for the planning of the Youth Forum and the Regional Conference.

met on June 3-6 in the Krasnokamenka International Scout Centre to work out the vision for the Youth Forum, the Guidelines and Rules of Procedure to be adopted by the Youth Forum and the Regional Conference, to analyze three main Strategic Priorities for Regional Strategic and Action Plan 2010-2013 as proposed by the Eurasia Regional Committee and other logistical details needed for proper planning of all the available resources.

All Team members dedicated all their efforts to make this meeting as productive as possible!

Besides the developed drafts of mentioned document, members of the Team discussed and agreed proposals for the Regional Committee about planning and implementation of Strategic Priorities for Eurasia on 2010-2013 based on the position and contemporary needs of youth members of NSOs.

Among other outcomes of the meeting was decision that each NSO will receive all "home reading" materials before the Youth Forum and will be able to come prepared to the event.

Thanks to all of the NSOs that spared their representatives to attend this meeting, we will engage the remaining young leaders from Azerbaijan (Mr.Imran Mukhtarov), Armenia (Ms.Lilit Zakaryan, Moldova (Ms.Irina Ceban) and Tadzhikistan to support the working group discussions online and join us as moderators of working groups during the Youth Forum.
