European Scout Experience

1. Ene 2011

My name is Alexandru Iambroszki and I have come from Romania to experience working in another European situation as an intern at the Brussels office of WOSM.

I am a proud Scout and a lucky one I could say! I got the opportunity to work in the European capital for half a year focussing on funding and external relations. I am working with the WOSM team in supporting the work at European level and contributing to the development of projects and different actions.

I have this opportunity due to the Youth In Action Programme, a European Union funding Programme which aims to encourage young people to be active citizens in their daily life and to support youth activities across Europe.

I have also created a personal blog where you can find more about my experience, the daily activities I am involved in and more.

Scouting, in my opinion, is a way of living that gives you the energy and freedom to express yourself in order to become a better person and to contribute to Creating a Better World.
