A call for adveture & Excitement in the 29th Arab Scout Jamboree, Cairo- Egypt

Under the Motto,"Scouting for all"; in close cooperation with the Egyptian Federation for Scouts & Girl Guides; the Arab Scout Regional Office is going to organize the 29th Arab Scout Jamboree (the 29th ASJ) from 15 to 24 July 2010. Some 1500 scouts & senior scouts representing 18 Arab NSOs are expected to participate in the named important Arab Scout Event.

The planned program includes many & different surprises, interesting & exciting scouting activities and games such as swimming, diving, different aquatic activities, adventure and challenging games, horse riding, gliding, paracell , the developing village activities and "Finding out the Treasure" game in the Old Cairo area is planned for those who like excitement. Number of relevant civil organizations, institutions and NGOs are expected to share their experiences through their stations & activities during the named event; adding to the organization of cultural visits to the different important historical sites in Egypt & Alexandria. In parallelism and under the Motto "Protecting the Child from Harm" a seminar targets the leaders of contingents is going to be organized in close cooperation with the Arab Council for Childhood & Development, in addition to the organization of Patrol Leaders Seminar.
