Third Arab scouts leaders forum recommend creating scout groups for children working in difficult situations

The third Arab scouts leaders forum organized by the Arab scouts organization with the cooperation of the Arab board for child and development has ended up yesterday after discussing the role of the scouts movement in ending cruelty and harm against children.The event was attended by 25 leaders from Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania and the general secretariat of the Arab scouts organization

The meeting started with an introduction to the aspects and importance of the issue and election of the administrative board and proceeded to the opening and general sessions that held the main presentation submitted by the Arab board for child and development presented by professor Ali Ismail from Alazhar University followed by two workshops to study the method of implementing the role of the scouts movement in ending cruelty and harm against children. The meeting ended by presenting several proposals that included training of scout leaders on children's rights, implementing a method of follow-up and evaluation of leaders within the responsibilities of the technical commissioners, to include the cause of ending cruelty and harm against children within training curriculums, encourage Contingents leaders cooperation with civil organizations involved in child rights and protection, make an effort to create an educational game helping to educate children about child's right's and ending cruelty and harm against children and educate scouts about their right's and duties when joining the scouts movement.
