TEAM MOUSE
After the election results (go Maire!) we began work on our draft resolutions for the conference. Our group discussion centred around three main points. We had a long discussion on the importance of an alternative wording in the Scout Promise to "my duty to God" which would allow a more meaningful promise be made by non-religious and alternatively-religious Scouts. We also discussed the possibility of Regional Youth Representatives who could support the Youth Advisors and ensure a representation of all regions without affecting the fairness of elections. When discussing the educational documents to be drawn up in line with the Triennial Plan we felt that it would be important that documents also deal with the inclusion of LGBT* youth. Today has had a lot of talking and we are looking forward to relaxing this evening!
