Ahmed Alhandawi talked about the 5 priorities of youth at the international level, he did a really good job in explaining these topics, and giving examples of what is happening in some countries and focussing on youth situations there, and he encouraged to continue the ceeperation between united nations agencies and scouts.
At all ages, youths are always challenged as an age group: not children anymore; not adults yet. Now we are facing a lack of employability for graduates as most university programmes don't aim at a practical approach of their fields, but a theoretical one. There is a growing need to make people employable and to help them find the right field for their future career. Scouting can do that. We can create the necessary tools to help our scouts to find their right field. We only need to take action now.
Attending the inspirational Project Fair was certainly a highlight of our day. It offered us a fantastic opportunity to discover various innovative and revolutionary initiatives being carried out by scouts across the globe. Our favorite was the Mexican project tackling gang crime, through the healthy development of disadvantaged youths and the Scout method, instead of punishment. Overall, this was a motivational and captivating way of spreading the word! #youthwall
