Scouts from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 5th Montenegrin National Jamboree 2014

25. juil 2014

60 scouts from Bosnia and Herzegovina have participated at the 5th Montenegrin National Jamboree which took place from 11th to 20th July 2014 at Bar. There were scouts from 5 different scout groups: "Igman 92" and "I. dobrinjski" from Sarajevo, "Zvijezda" from Vares and "Trebinje" from Trebinje actively participated in daily activities within their own camp and in workshops with children and young participants from more than 10 countries whereas members of Scout association of the Municipality of Zenica have been welcomed in the senior's camp.
All participants, more than 650 of them, were divided into 5 camps which were named according to the names of the National parks of Montengero. Bosnia and Herzegovina was a part of Prokletije camp.
Even though the daily temperatures were constantly raising, our scouts got acquainted with customs and tradition of Montenegro visiting Old Bar, Kotor, Cetinje, Lovcen, Skadarsko Lake and many other sites. At the same time, new friendships have been made with scouts from Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia, Belgium, France, Israel...
Hopefully this will not be the end of one wonderful friendship and that we will find a way to stay in touch.
Thank you Zeko, Tanjo, Maja, Marko, other Marko, Pero, Miso, Mico, Dragan, Misko, Igor, Dule, Bole, Andrija, Peko, Zeljko, Milena, Bojana... and many others for making this experience unforgettable.
