The Mabini Academy 2014 Leadership Training Camp and Refreshment Course

24. juin 2014

Through the organization of Outfit Advisor Sctr. Jay Sargento, The Mabini Academy holds their own leadership camp at their own institution. 164 Senior and Rover Scouts attended the camp, including some scouts invited from Lipa Montessori School of Learning, Lipa City Colleges, San Celestino National High School, and Pinagtong-ulan National High School. The scouts attended sessions about scout ideals, crew features, leadership, friendship, history of scouting and BSP, hiked at Mt. Canlaon, Sto. Niño, Lipa City, cooked rice using bamboo, learned proper bandaging, made tripods using sticks and yarns, ventured through the obstacle course, attended Sunday mass, and many more. Scouters from other institutions like Sctr. Jeric Capuchino, Sctr. Andrew, Sctr. Randy Lescano, Sctr. Pablo Katigbak, Sctr, Leonides Marasigan and Sctr. Cesar Catapang were also there to share their knowledge to the scouts. The scouts also had a campfire where different crews performed their yells, songs, skits and talents to the "Mahal na Akila." At the end of the camp, the scouts had fun and had a new sense of leadership.
