Delivering help to Bajina Bašta,

On May 22, scouts from Belgrade urgently organized a transport of help to one of the affected ares in Western Serbia. The citizens of Bajina basta, the town which was affected by floods and landslides were very thankfull for all help delivered to them by scouts and volunteers from Belgrade. The firts contingent of help consisting of canned food, hygiene packages, diapers and clothes for children arrived to Bajina Badta on May 22. Together with the Red Cross, the hardworking scouts unloaded and sorted out the help in the local scout center. The help was further distributed by scouts to surrounding vilages. Most of them can now be reached only on foot, since the heavy rain has caused numerous landslides that have destroyed roads. The second part of donation from scout from Belgrade arrived at 23.May. This donation was distributed to families in the village Bačevci.
