Downes Syndrome Fundraising Community Project

21st May 2014

They will take responsibility for selling the ice cream, taking in money and giving change at the local Killimor Family FunDay. They will count the money at the end of the day and send to Downes Syndrome Ireland. The Cubs will learn about what Downes Syndrome is and what their fundraising will help achieve. They interact with Downes Syndrome children in their school and this community project will further helps them embrace diversity, show them that putting in time and effort will raise much needed funds and also how those funds can be used.
