Fifty Bill Board Photos in the Streets of Mondorf (LU) Trace Back 100 Years of Scouting in Luxembourg

31st Mar 2014

Since 30 March 2014 and throughout a full year, Luxembourgers and their guests from abroad can trace back the first one hundred years of Scouting in Luxembourg in general and of Fédération Nationale des Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Luxembourg FNEL in particular by walking along a 2,5km open air photo gallery in Mondorf, Luxembourg. Fifty bill board size photos bring back souvenirs of memorable events, inform about typical activities and let the viewer discover Scouting's past and present in Luxembourg.

This past Sunday saw the official opening and vernissage in the presence of H.E. Maggy Nagel, the Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Grand-Duchy, H.E. Lex Delles, the Mayor of Mondorf, as well as other members of authorities and a large number of current and former members of the Scout Movement in Luxembourg.

The next highlight in a series of special events marking the centenary of Scouting in Luxembourg will be "Together 2014", a large international Jamboree during the second half of July 2014.

Two reasons for you to travel to Luxembourg this year!
