Activity Centre for Scouts in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

31st Mar 2014

An activity centre in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan welcoming Scouts of different races, religion and creed. The centre is located on the second floor of a three-storey building. More than 20 Scouts volunteered to clean, paint, mop, wash, manage and help transform a former vacant lot, hopefully, into a thriving activity centre. This centre inspires to host hands-on learning sessions which will bring together Scouts of various races, religion, creed. The activities will help reduce racial polarisation, increase understanding and foster tolerance among those from different background. This centre will be the first of its kind. Many Scouts have volunteered, asides with hammer and nails, and helped fund the repairs so desperately needed at this Centre. Negeri Sembilan is one of 14 states in Malaysia. There are nine Scouting districts in Negeri Sembilan comprising Scouts from various races, religion and background.
