The Hajj - My Trip to Mecca

26. Mar 2014

In an effort to promote greater cultural and community awareness, the 7th Kanata Firewolves Pack is taking on a series of Messengers of Peace projects. The first is "The Hajj - My Trip to Mecca". This project is designed to expose our members and their parents to the diversity of religions and in particular the Muslim faith. The parents of one of our Cubs recently completed the Hajj and were asked to give a one hour presentation explaining the purpose of this pilgrimage and their experiences. The Hajj while unique to the Muslim faith has its roots in Judeo Christian history and we are seeking to promote greater tolerance in our community.
