scout greetings and greetings of peace :)

Hi Alyanna! I think a big part of it is self-development - through many activities you become more open-minded and culturally aware, get teamwork skills (and maybe leading and motivation skills), you become more self-conscious and self-reliant, you get the feeling of being able to achieve something, flexibility, you are able to take the initiative and start something etc. If you are doing more project-like things, I think you will especially learn planning, time and project management, persistence, communication and presentation skills etc.

For me, some of the basic Scouting values have always proven to be very useful in my daily work, let's for example take the Scout Promise and Law, and of course the unseen Law 'A Scout is not a Fool',,,, have really help me every time a challenging situation arises, which leads to self-development, and sometimes to skills I don't even have the word for.. Organising was well enhanced from Scouting, I used it all the time, even organising a get-together or something.

:) Thanks for all your answers
