Senior Scout leaders in Malaysia met at Pusat Latihan Pengakap Negara (National Scouts Training Centre) for a three-day workshop, held Mar 14 - 16, entitled "POR Series 2014" (POR Siri 2014) near Kuala Lumpur.

The workshop's participants represented a majority of Malaysia's 17 Scouting states; example from Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Perak, Melaka, Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Wilayah Persekutuan - Labuan, Wilayah Persekutuan - Kuala Lumpur, etc.

Participants were briefed and actively discussed about the Scouts Association of Malaysia (Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia)’s current "Policy, Organisation & Rules" (Prosedur Organisasi & Peraturan).

The workshop was officiated by National Chief Commissioner Dato' Dr. Mohamad Shahrum Osman and hosted by PPM Deputy National Chief Commissioners Datuk Hj Abdul Kader and Datuk Hj Awang Zainie, and National Training Commissioner Hj Abdul Shukor Mohsin. International Commissioner Dr. Mohd Mukhyuddin Sarwani was also present to lend his perspective.

Several Chief State Commissioners graced the event like Negeri Sembilan Chief Commissioner Hamdan Hj Mohd Nor, Melaka Chief Commissioner Mohd Zamir Mohd Sharif and others.
