Taiwan Scouts join the Snow Camp with Japanese scouts in Toyama, Japan

30 scouts and leaders from Taiwan went to Toyama, Japan to join the Snow Camp in Satoyama 2014 on 24-27 January 2014. The camp is organized by Toyama Scout Council. Taiwanese scouts were very excited about the camp, for some of them, it was the first time for them to see snow in their life time.

The snow camp is organized by Toyama Scout Council for 12-year-old children to teach them to face the challenge of outdoor and cold weather. Participants need to set up camp in snow and spent one night there. This is the first time for Toyama Scout Council to invite scouts from Taiwan to join the snow camp. We hope to have more and more exchange program in the near future.
