Over the last while a dangerous trend has emerged on social media sites across the world. The "Neknomination" craze involved a dangerous level of binge drinking, and resulted in the deaths of two young men in Ireland.
In response to this Scouting Ireland set up it's own social media initiative "DARE 2 DO GOOD". This is a campaign of positive action, to encourage people to record themselves doing something selfless, positive and good for someone else.
It can be something big or small, by young and old. Something simple or complicated. As long as it selfless, positive and good that benefits someone else that could be family, a friend or a stranger.

Another Facebook Page; RAK Nomination was set up by a Irish Scouter & his brother today and already has over 8,500 likes. It is encouraging people to record and share Random Acts of Kindness. The page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/Raknominations
