On the 4th day of Messengers of Peace - Karnataka Start Up & Networking, we had field visit, during which we had to motivate the young scouts about messengers of peace and connect them on the global platform. It was a wonderful experience to interact with the young minds and listen to what peace meant to them. Here are a few instances of how these young scouts below the age of 14 have been messengers of peace:
Bishal Banerjee class ‘7’ of Sindhi High School says, “Once I had a fall when I was playing and one of my friend Suraj, with whom I had fought came and helped me, I never thought Suraj would be so kind to me. This helped me to forget about our fight and be friends with him again and also I asked sorry to few other friends with whom I had fought”
Abhinav Mahesh Class ‘6’ Sindhi High School says, “I was cycling in the apartment complex one evening and found a hundred rupee note, I dint know what to do, I gave it to the security person and the one who lost it was a construction worker in the apartment complex and the security person gave it to him, I felt very happy to have helped him find his money”
Shreya N Class 5 chinmaya vidyalaya says, “Once I went to a carnival with my parents where there were a lot of games and I won a teddy bear in throwing the hoop game. As we were walking back one small kid saw the doll and started crying asking its parents to buy it, but the kids’ mother scolded the kid. I felt bad and gave my doll to that kid it felt very happy and played with the doll”

I felt really good to meet these young scouts who left behind a great message "just keep everyone happy" through their actions and stories!
