Subregional meeting of the Youth Programme network - Caribbean 2012

From the 22nd to the 24th of June, the Scout Association of Trinidad & Tobago was host of the subregional meeting of the Youth Programme network of the Interamerican Scout Region. For three days, 16 representatives of the associations scouts of St. Vincent & the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Curacao, Trinidad & Tobago, Grenada and Guyana, met in the town of Arima, near the capital Port of Spain, to discuss and share experiences in Youth Programme.

The topics discussed at the meeting were: problems of each NSO in the implementation of the Youth Programme; analysis of the Mission, Vision and Cause of the Scout Movement; knowing the World Youth Programme Policy; assessment tools on the implementation of the programme, as well as the degree of self-sufficiency of youth programme national teams; generating questions for the definition of a Regional Youth Programme Policy; MACPRO/RAP.
The meeting ended with the identification of assistance needs in Youth Programme in each NSO
