Interamerican Network Environment

The Interamerican Scout Committee made the decision to form the Interamerican Network Environment, which is added to the networks already established and working in the Interamerican Region.

The Interamerican Scout Committee also agreed to hold the first meeting of the Inter-American Network Environment in Mexico, taking the hosts to the Scouts of Mexico.
Within Mexico was elected in Jalisco and host corresponded to Ciudad Guzman for the provision of infrastructure facilities to house Scouts in Forestry Training Center (CEFOFOR).
The National Chief Scout , Lorena Gudiño, unveiled a plaque which states that the CEFOFOR, is a Scouts of the World Base.
As the name indicates the network is focused on environmental issues are already addressed into virtually all National Scout Organizations in some more formally than others.
That is why the World Scout Bureau - Interamerican Region, through the Scout Association of Mexico called Scouts of all the Interamerican Region to engage in sustainable development issue and participate in this international event by sharing their experiences, redefining guidelines and developing the work plan.
This time the groups involved were the Scout Associations of Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru and Belize, served as hosts the scout groups 1 and 3 of Ciudad Guzmán.
