8th World Scout Youth Forum

From 8 to 12 July, 2002, 139 participants, of which 111 also attended the World Scout Conference, from 47 countries and all 6 world regions met in Metsovo, Greece, for the 8th World Scout Youth Forum.

The Forum programme aimed to answer five crucial questions facing Scouting in the new millennium:

Are we making a difference? (Impact)
Where are the young people? (Users)
Are our programmes attractive to Adolescents? (Tools)
Is the Scout method really used? (Process)
Are we preparing young people to be active members of society? (Results)
