Scouting is often associated with many stereotypes: Scouting=military; Scouting=religion; Scouting=followers.
Using billboards around the streets of Geneva, and a camp this week in the countryside, these issues will be explored to show that contrary to the stereotypes, Scouting is:
The camp is being held the 11-14 April 2007: and it is expected that around 1300 Scouts from the Geneva area will turn up for 4 days of adventure!
Amongst the chance to combat prejudices, is also the opportunity for local Scouts from different Groups to join together in celebrating the Centenary of Scouting. The general public is also invited to come and join in the fun – especially people between the ages of 8-25 years.
What's on offer? Role plays, workshops on local and wider Scouting, sporting challenges, concerts- and four days of laughter and discovery!
