Good Campfire Recipes

16. Oct 2013

Hi everyone,
Wondering if anyone has any unusual or just yummy campfire recipes?
Personally I love the brownie in an orange thing!

Brownie in an Orange sounds great - what's your recipe for the brownie? How long do you have them on the fire?

Our scouts love Camp Pizzas.

Split open a Pita Bread, smear in some tomato sauce, chuck in some grated cheese and your choice of 'toppings' (or 'innings' if you'd prefer as they aren't really on top!) Our scouts love some torn up ham and chopped pepper.

Cover it all in tin foil and cook in the embers of a good fire for 5 to 10 mimutes (remembering to turn it over once). We only use ingredients that you can eat safely even if they are a little undercooked!

It's very basic, but the scouts love them.
