Singaporean Scouts help build classrooms in India
Rover Scouts from Singapore built classrooms in a remote village in Sikkim province at the far north of India. Today, the extra rooms are being used by children who enjoy going to school without the hassle of going home early due to rain or lack of classrooms.
This project of Singapore Rover Scouts is part of the Scouts of the World Award Voluntary Service Project which also involved two Maldivian Scouts who previously attended the Scouts of the World Discovery Workshop in Singapore.
