Interamerican Scout Committee
The ISC is the body that manages and administers the Interamerican Scout Organization on the basis of objectives, policies and action lines established by the Conference and its purpose is:
- Approve the Regional Plan.
- Act as an advisory body of the World Scout Committee in matters relating to the Interamerican Region.
- Encourage, promote and support the global, regional and subregional events carried out in the Region.
- Act on behalf of the Interamerican Scout Conference among its sessions.
The Committee is composed by ten elected members in a way that no more than one member of the same national scout organization is allowed. These members exercise their function on a voluntary manner, for six years, renewing five of them by the Conference when it meets every three years. The ISC is also integrated by the Regional Director of the Interamerican Scout Organization who is also its Executive Secretary.

Michael Brabshaw ISC Member Master’s Degree in Education specialized in Educational Administration and Development of Curriculum and Educational Policy. Serves as Accreditation Director and Quality Enlargement in the Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago. Lives in Port of Spain and is member of the Scout Association of Trinidad & Tobago. His period as ISC member ends on 2013. |
